Mariners lose to Oakland 4-1 Gameview

The  light hitting Seattle Mariners  behind an excellent 8  innings  by 38 year -old  Bartolo Colon
and # 2  M,s Starter Jason Vargas ended  the 2 game series in Japan.  This loss was placed  on the  bullpen
Sean Kelly coming off a series of  elbow problems stoked the fire by giving up a 1-0 lead courtesy of a Justin Smoak  solo HR to Cuban Phenom Youneas  Cespedes that followed up by a Josh Redick solo HR sunk the Mariners in Game 2 . The mariners  s return to Arizona for 5 games  and open the season April 6th in Oakland . At 1-1 the M.s are going to need more offense to compete with Ananhiem and Texas in the AL West. Then  with an 82 million dollar payroll a comfortable 3rd place finish is likely in order.
