Hello, everyone despite a 3.10 AM PDT start in Seattle The 67-95 Mariners seemed to be alert enough
to get an 11 inning Win courtesy of Felix Hernandez. Japan was the perfect stage for RF Ichiro Suzuki coming off a sub par year hittng .272 with 184 hits. The 38 year old RF batting 3rd went 4-5 with 3 infield hits
Dustin Ackley homered and drove in 2 runs as the M.s won in 11 innings. The fans were receptive and genuinely happy based on the replay from MLB Network. The M,s rotation will be as follows Hernandez, Vargas , Noesi, Beaven , and Milwood. The M,s were at or near the bottom the AL statistically in most every Categorey. Do I expect them to improve from the 2011 of 67-95 yes , I do not think they will climb out of 3rd place in the AL West Texas and Anahiem have upgraded specifically the Angels with the acquisition of CJ Wilson and Albert Pujols. The site follows the Mariners and the way to do that here is simply go to the bottom of the Page you will find Mariner reporter Shannon Drayer and the Mariner blog she has some great Pics and stories regarding this trip. I will be posting Bob Bavasi Japan ball info here soon. They conduct tours periodically next one in September 2012. The season In Japan begins March 30th 2012. I will be posting the Leauge baseball site and Japan Times daily to track baseball in Japan
