Hello, Everyone, here is my analysis of the Seahawks season so far at 2-3. The defending NFC West Champions are doing well defending against the run for the most part. KJ Wright Walter Thurmond and Cam Chancellor seem to be growing up quickly and the Seahawk fan base can be pleased with the progress so far. As far as OC Daryl Bevell I am still confused about what type of offense he is trying to run. I will say that this seems to be an offense that is focused on the run 1st. Marshawn Lynch needs to do more early in the game to set up the Play action Pass more. Michael Robinson a true FB is good only as a change of pace short yardage option. As far as Justin Forsett option goes he is not an every down back. Seattle needs to find a way to stop teams from loading the box with 7 or 8 players to stop the Run. The Usuall option would be to throw the ball down the field more. On the offensive side of the ball, Tavaris Jackson has been a serviceable QB completeing 63 percent of his passes. Rookie WR Doug Baldwin has been a pleasant suprise so far leading the team in Receptions and yds. WR Sidney Rice has been a nice addition of late. The O-line with 2 rookies in the form of Moffit and Carpenter are a definite work in Progress. Tom Cable is recovering from medical procedures on his back and until the O-line matures then whomever is behind center better be ready for pocket breakdowns and sacks allowed will be increasing. The trends and tendencies the team is demonstrating is the inability to play a full game. They have been slow starters in the 1st half of games and doing most of their damage in the second half. This is Making Head Coach Pete Carrol a master of the halftime adjustment. As they face Clevealnd Seattle must play complete games of 60 minutes. My grade a C for this team the Jury is still out some what The Seahawks play Cleveland this week and the Dog pound will be loud. I am Mark Alan Janisch Senior Writer and creator WWS
