The WWS blog was born on December 20th 2010 as an outlet for sports fans, coaches and players to interact positively regarding the games and the people that play them.
After growing up in the small coastal town of Carpinteria California on the West coast of the United States in the 1970s to the mid 1980s the next 20 years of my life were spent in the Pacific Northwest.
A love for Northwest Sports grew and flourished. The WWS blog is dedicated to you the fan and in memorium to a voice of my youth, Jim Mckay, who hosted a Saturday afternoon program on ABC
Known as the Wide World of Sports that Spanned the globe to bring you the constant variety of Sports.
It is my hope that in the future you as viewers will provide positive healthy dicussion regarding your lives and the foundational life principles sports can teach us. I want to metion to those of you across the continents of Asia, Europe, and North and South America that I will continue to build this
platform to include as much information as Possible that is targeted and meaningful to your corner of the globe. As I present to you sight improvements and additional pod cast programming in the future
I trust that a spirit of unity can be forged between myself and you my audience.
In closing I want to provide blog contact information and emphazize where you will hear my voice and recieve information about where this labor of love that is WWS is headed in terms of both now and in the future. The twice weekly post known as the Breeze is my written colum and effort to effectively communicate News, Opinion and Analysis. I can also be found on twitter @wideworldofspor. I can also be reached via e-mail at maj14@live.com. A special thanks to Webmaster Christopher Young
for his expertise and help in creating what I hope is a more user friendly and enjoyable site for you.
