It appears that The Chicago White could not stand Prosperity blowing a 3 run lead late and losing to the Detroit Tigers on a rainy getaway day at US Cellullar Field. Dylan Axelrod the 26 Year old RHP from Santa Barbara CA Gave up 2 runs both earned walked 2 and Struck out 8 over 6 innings.
Axelrod worked the corners well and his location was excellent despite a Solo HR from Carlos Guillen
late of the Seattle Mariners. Ozzie Guillen in his post game Presser showed empathy for the rookie righthander. and essentially said his team has quit on him. The always colorful manager added that if that is the case then they need to let him know they choose not to play. Let us discuss the continued demise of The Sox Pen and Sergio Santos with 29/34 save chances took the loss the Tigers winning streak reached 12 . The choice for the South Siders is to keep Ozzie Guillen or fire GM Kenny Williams. Jerry Reinsdorf needs to decide who is leaving and as I addressed in an earlier post this team needs an Identity other than putting there fans through hell. The Sox need a crisis management specialist from Cook County
As for the amiable Axelrod he has earned the right for another one and possibly 2 starts as the season winds down the below links include a Chicago Tribunestory and Game Stats I am Senior Writer and WWS Blog founder Mark Alan Janisch I can be found on twitter @wideworldofspor
