These are not the Jordan era Bulls but as former Laker Coach Pat Riely used to say defense and rebounding wins Championship rings Holding Lebron James and Dwayne Wade to 12/32 shooting and 33 points. The Bulls were led by Derek Rose and Luell Deng scoring 49 points and Carlos Boozer added 14 points and 9 rebs. A superb defensive effort by these Bulls led to a 45-33 overall edge on the boards an an impressive 19-6 edge in offensive rebounding. After an excellent firrst half that ended tied at 48, The Bulls outscored the Heat 46-25 to close out game 1. The Bulls shot 47 percent from 3 point range going 10-21.
Eric Spolestra has a lot of work to do before Tuesday 5.30 PT on TNT. Series amount to who can make adjustments better. It is up to Miami now going into game 2. A great effort by the Bulls is going to cause problems for the South Beach Bums. Coach Spolestras lament was that on those balls that arwe 50-50
in nature were not handled well by Miami. The first adjustment I would advise is bring more energy to the floor it was not there tonight. 2. Spread the floor and create space to improve outside shooting. Eric Spolestra stated there is not any good or bad effortsin the Playoffs only wins and losses. I beg to differ with the Coach tonight was a poor effort and a loss. with rounball reflections I am Mark Alan Janisch twitter@wide world of spor maj14@live.com comment if you have a Google account as well
