A look ahead at the Seahawks' 2015 schedule
While most fans are thinking about what seed the Seahawks will earn heading into the playoffs, it is never too early to look ahead.
The 2015 schedule is set, save for two games - one against an NFC South team at home and one against the NFC East on the road.
At home, Seattle will play the Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bears, Lions, Browns, Steelers, and the NFC South team (Panthers, Falcons or Saints) with the same ranking within it's division as the Seahawks
The headliner of this group has to be the long-awaited home game against the Steelers, who have twice defeated the Seahawks in Pittsburgh since the two teams battled in Super Bowl XL. The last game in Seattle between these two teams took place in 2003, with the Seahawks winning 23-16.
Likewise the Bears have not come to Seattle since 2009, and with the team possibly getting gutted in the offseason, an opportunity to play Chicago in a rebuilding stage is very appealing. The return of wide receiver Golden Tate, now with the Lions, will also dominate the storylines. The Legion of Boom will be licking its chops for their look at Johnny Football when the Browns come to CenturyLink Field.
Road trips will include San Francisco, Arizona, St. Louis, Green Bay, Minnesota, Baltimore and Cincinnati and either Philadelphia or Dallas.
The Packers at Lambeau Field will surely be a primetime matchup. Cornerback Richard Sherman will get a rematch against Bengals wideout A.J. Green. The two played against each others as rookies in 2011, with Green catching a touchdown pass and Sherman recording his first career interception in the game.
