The Breeze Vol 1. No. 24 Angels best acquisition should Be Kim Ng as a GM

The post season free agent derby for the 2012 season has not even started although I fully expect Albert Pujols to be singed to an 8 Year 40 Million Dollar per year contract after tonights game 7. The Angels need to hire Ng pronounced Ang for all you Linguistics experts out there. The University of Chicago graduate is currently in the leauge office as a Senior VP of Baseball Operations. My first exposure to her came as she was being interviewed for the vacant Seattle GM position in 2008. in 13 seasons  with the Yankees ,Dodgers, and the White Sox  she went to the playoffs 8 times 6 Leauge Championships and 3 World Series. Ng lost her chance to be at the corner of Royal Brougham and Edgar Martinez Way in Seattle. Her Name Came up before the afore mentioned Dodgers hired Ned Colletii as GM. Let,s establish reasons why she should be hired. 1. She is a qualified applicant 2. She is female 3. She is a non-caucasion always good to pad those minority hiring numbers with those who are  qualified. In Baseball terms the Angels are hamstrung by at least 3 contracts that are bloated Scott Kazmir, Gary Matthews, and the vastly overpaid and underperforming Vernon Wells. The Angels need to return to the playoffs before 2020.
Hope and change in Orange County CA is going to start with Kim Ng If Artie Moreno is as brilliant as I think he is he needs to give Ng the reigns The Angels may be in close proximity to Mickey Mouse and the Magic Kingdom  but Kim Ng is no  Mickey Mouse candidate.
