The Scandals continue to Pile up for NCIA President Mark Emmert as of this posting 3 more OSU players have been suspended along with the 8 Miami players for taking improper benefits from boosters making OSU and Miami home of the less than great 8 as in the number of players implicated in the Latest Scandals to rock The National Collegiate Investigation Association. Mark Emmert when last seen left The University of Washington after a 6 year tenure to join other academics schmoozing at NCAA HQ. Emmert declared while at Washington there is ettiquite to winning in College Sports. It might be time for Emmert to have to change his Paradigm as stated well by Seattle Times Writetr Jerry Brewer in this August 18th 2011 article posted on this very blog http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/jerrybrewer/2015940221_brewer18.html#.Tk2VZYuogec.blogger
Why is it that some left of center academics can never deal with reality when it comes to the fact that young players need some form of compensation as they are the engine that keeps academic programs running including Women,s Sports thanks to Title 9. Emmert has already stated that Miami will not recieve the quote Death Penalty as SMU did in the 1980.s and Miami did not although should have recieved for defrauding the Feds out of educational grant money in the 1990,s chronicled by ESPN in 30 for 30 series. So as the heat gets hot under Emmert as in hot seat barely 9 months into his tenure as NCIA President he has more investigations he needs to make Michigan , Oregon, LSU Miami USC it seems like the floods and the 5.9 Eathquake that struck the US East coast in the same week did not faze another President but maybe like President Obama Emmert needs to be Shaken by more scandals before he gets a clue he is in over his head and he like our current commander in Chief is in over his head In a related post Paul Finebaum from CNNSi.com takes issue with Emmerts failure to lead I am Mark Alan Janisch Senior writer and founder WWS you may follow me on twitter @wideworldofspor The Paul Finebuam Piece followshttp://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/paul_finebaum/09/01/mark.emmert/index.html?sct=cf_wr_a1
