Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik today announced the Opening Day roster for the 2013 season.
To get to the final, 25-man roster, Seattle made the following roster moves:

Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (1):
Right-handed Pitcher (1): Danny Farquhar
Catcher (1): Jesus Sucre
Infielder (1): Brad Miller
Outfielder (1): Endy Chavez
The Mariners 2013 Opening Day roster includes 12 pitchers, 2 catchers, 6 infielders and 5 outfielders. In addition, right-handed pitcher Josh Kinney will the season on the 60-day disabled list (stress reaction in the third rib on his left side).
With the addition of right-handed pitcher D.J. Mitchell to the 40-man roster, outfielder Casper Wells was designated for assignment. The Mariners have 10 days to trade, release or outright Wells to the minor leagues.
