Dolphins Linebacker Pleads No Contest to IV Attack

A linebacker for the Miami Dolphins has pleaded "no contest" to a felony charge stemming from a fight in Isla Vista a year ago.
Nawa Koa Misi entered the plea in a Santa Barbara Superior Courtroom yesterday the over six feet, 260 pound linebacker is accused of punching through the wooden front door of an apartment and striking a 19 year old man in the eye.
Misi has already paid restitution to the victim.
If convicted Deputy District attorney Anthony Davis proposed three years probation, including 400 hours of community service and 12 sessions of anger management.
Davis says the victim is doing well and is ok with the terms of possible sentencing.
He will be sentenced for the felony battery charge on February 13th.
