Axelrod gets 1st Major leauge win as Guillen is released as a manager

The Mesa neighborhood in Santa Barbara California was alive with White Sox fans tonight,  as 26 Year old  RHP Dylan Axelrod  won his 1st MLB game with a nerve racking 4-3 win for the home team at US Cellular Field The quiet, humble Axelrod pitched 6 innings allowed 3 H 0R 0ER 2BB and 6 Ks Closer Sergio Santos secured his 30th save as the final out was recorded on a strikeout and a force play with the bases loaded for the final out. On a night when Ozzie Guillen was fired and or traded to the Florida Marlins for a player to be named  later, GM Kenny Williams and Owner Jerry Reinsdorf released Ozzie Guillen from his contract and will not manage in 2012.The  White Sox  have  a payroll wreckage of 127 million dollars and an under performing Alex Rios and power hitting Adam Dunn performing under the Mendoza line this year. This has created the perfect storm. Speaking of storms the quick working Axelrod,  Mark Buehrle style worked quickly to retire Blue Jay batters.
