Is Seahawk headquarters turning into Minnesota Vikings West or a rehab center for players who need to rehabilitate relating to there football lives? Seahawk Nation and the 12th man as they are known must be very concerned regarding the somewhat disjointed thinking in Seattle regarding the team. After letting Matt Hasselbeck go to the Titans it would appear that Pete Carroll has decieded to make Century Link field his personal rehab center. Mr. Rah Rah has taken a slightly wrong turn in his leadership of the team. Seattle has shown signs of slowly regaining form recently going 7-9 and winning the NFC West in 2010. The problem I have is Sidney Rice coming off of hip procedures in 2010 and a questionable Tavaris Jackson who is 10-10 as a starter and woefully ineffective when last seen in the Land of Lakes. They are now wearing Seattle uniforms. The Seahawks clearly lacking in the defensive Backfield as evidenced by a step slow and aging Marcus Trufant as well as an undersized Kelley Jennings to name a few. The only other moves that seem a mystery to me is why acquire TE Zack Miller when you have a perfectly capable John Carlson already there??? The new OC Daryl Bevell who had Jackson in Minnisesota, needs a magic wand from illusionist David Copperfield to make this offense work. Long time Hawk fans will remeber #15 Seneca Wallace who was a roll out QB with good speed and a strong arm. Same with T Jack. The memo to John Schnider needs to be build a defense please.Defense wins Championships. Robert Gallery and Brandon Mebane have been signed but why oh why did your rebuilding project not include a focus on defense? I would likely have better luck going to the Emerald Quenn Casino exit 135 In Tacoma Wa than this gamble with injured Veterans and second tier retreads at the QB Slot. It is quite evident that the Seahawks want to gamble this year. Going 6-10 if that this year may not please Seahawk fans as ownership gambles with actually keeping a fan base ???
